"Jokes" by the Las Vegas based rap artist and actor Sencere The Jedi utilizes one of the most sampled breaks of all time ("Impeach The President") but producer Blu Majic Beat Co. adds key elements to make it sound so refreshing. Sencere's music is heavily influenced by the likes of Nas, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Tupac to name a few and he blends complex self-aware lyrics that are both intimately personal, and deeply passionate. Blending the instrumental with Sencere's self-reflective lyrics is a great combination leading to a very DOPE song and accompanying visual.
Sencere is currently in the process of releasing his much anticipated mixtape as he continues to grow his following. We definitely look forward to listening to what's to come on the mixtape after "Jokes".
