Toronto Artist Ekelle Releases Official Music Video For "Houd"

Toronto artist Ekelle releases visuals for her new single, "Houd" after running her One Song A Month campaign for 5 months. Ekelle challenged herself to record and upload a new song and visual each month back in August of 2017. From that time to now Ekelle has released "Destroyer", "The Cookie Song", "Body Work", "Love Killa", "Houd" and now the "Houd" remix. Each song has a different style and feel, but is very much true to the diverse artist that she is. Ekelle celebrates with a music video for her song "Houd" and an added verse from fellow female rapper Marie Bee.

With a beat by Jelan Abrams, the song has a nostalgic vibe and is reminiscent of the days in hip hop when it was okay to have a boo instead of a bae and to hold someone down. You can expect the same mellow feeling in the video shot by Sonny Visual which captures the beauty of Toronto’s urban streets.

Ekelle is currently working on her debut project, "Dark Skin and Tattoos" to be released in the spring of 2018. Check out "Houd" and follow Ekelle on her social media streams below.
