Them Fantasies is a Boston based alternative/indie rock trio - with an emphasis on “the sauce”. Formed in late 2017, founding members Dominic Cannarella and Eric McCoy met at Berklee College of Music and began to blend their two very-contrasting musical backgrounds with Max Meizlish. Dominic comes from Alternative, Punk, and Grunge; Eric comes from Classic Rock, Blues, and Jazz - Max bridges the gap through fresh servings of fresh-cooked grooves and feel. Merging their styles gives Them Fantasies a unique indie/alternative vibe with an unmistakably contemporary sound.
In early 2018 the trio headed off to Valencia, Spain for 4 months and played their first international showcase. This showcase set the precedent for their whole time in Spain, as immediately afterwards they were approached by Una Vez Records to record their debut EP in Valencia, and a booking agent who helped them sell out their first two shows ever. During their time in Spain, Them Fantasies played 8 shows, opened for two-time Grammy nominee Patrice Rushen, played the first ever international CD Baby conference, and collaborated with well-known Indian vocalist, Dhaval Khotari.
Upon their return to the U.S, the band shipped out to the Midwest for a tour of America’s heartland in support of “The Ghosted” EP. Fall 2018 brought a string of successes: the trio collaborated and recorded with Grammy-Nominated jazz virtuoso Jesus Molina and played shows back in their hometown of Boston + NYC. This began new era for the band and they recorded their debut album Caffeine Queen! After recruiting House/EDM producer Nick Smith of SMLE + Rocket League soundtrack fame, they teamed up to make a remarkably unique record that features the band’s heartfelt and technical-yet-rowdy songs accompanied by the modern crystal-clear production of today’s dance clubs. The band also embarked on a three-week East Coast/Southern tour in support of the singles from the record. All in All, Them Fantasies’ goal is to make you get up on your feet and reminisce about your long lost love—all at the same time!
