J.J Leone is a singer-songwriter, multi instrumentalist and producer. He was born in Chingford, London. He is of Canadian and Italian descent, with showground ancestry.
Born into a musical family, his godfather being a classical guitarist and older brother a jazz musician, Leone showed an interest in music at an early age, learning the acoustic and electric guitar through books and by ear. By the age of 10, Leone had moved to the Norfolk countryside, which J.J now cites as his 'second home'. It was here that he was able to learn the drums and bass guitar, along with the electronic production of music to expand his capabilities.
After catching the attention of BBC Introducing, Richer Unsigned and a number of musical blogs across the world, including airplay across Europe and the United States, Leone has amassed over 1,000,000 views on Facebook and over 250,000 YouTube views.
Following a number of prestigious concerts, including the world famous Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London and two sold out European shows for internationally renowned 'Sofar Sounds', Leone's final single 'Loving Someone', before for the release of his album, rose to over 400,000 streams in it's first week of release.
On March 6th 2017, Leone released his album 'The Rebuild', which peaked at #12 in the iTunes album chart.
