Henrietta Declares Her Love In Brand New Track "May You Rest"

Back from touring Europe with some of Britain’s elite artists, Henrietta is gearing up for the release of her 3rd single “May You Rest”.

The 21 year old opts for a different approach with this release in comparison to her previous two. She slows down the production for a melody set to instill sentiment and warm hearts. Teaming up once again with the extremely talented producer Insightful; who also produced her debut release “Broken By Love” and is infamous for his involvement with global moving culture label Soulection.

"This is a very personal song for me and I guess kind of cheesy because it's about me declaring my feelings towards someone very special to me. It doesn't have a conventional pop structure, with a hooky chorus or set verses. The structure feels more like a storytelling journey rather than a pop song. It's a very honest song for me as it is how I was genuinely feeling at the time and this song was used to voice my emotions to this person” – Henrietta

Continuing to produce music of a high standard that has successfully caught the attention of tastemaker sites such as; Indie Shuffle, The 405, Hype Machine plus more; Henrietta is gradually securing her place within the industry as a future artist to look out for!

As well as popular tastemaker sites taking an interest, the airwaves have also recognized Henrietta’s undeniable talent. BBC Introducing in Essex debuted her 2nd single “Real” on their station as one of their hottest unsigned tracks for the week. Belgium, Portugal, Romania and Turkey are just some of the places South London born Henrietta performed in whilst on tour with soulful Atlantic Records signee Kwabs. It was in Switzerland that she had the honour of opening up for Lana Del Rey at the Montreux Jazz Festival alongside Max Jury. Chart-topping dance, production duo, Blonde first recognized Henrietta’s intricate vocal range last year (2015). They were so impressed with her talent that they invited her to perform their smash hit “All Cried Out” at the Hallam FM Summer Festival (2015).

Electro-Soul is a genre that is vastly becoming popular within the industry and Henrietta is definitely the perfect artist to champion and develop that category further!
