Scartoon has released second single, "Fangs" featuring T. Rabb, from the forthcoming album, "The American Psycho". Magnetic Magazine had this to say about track, "Often atmospheric and yet dystopic in nature, "Fangs" is powerful and sure to capture the eyes and ears of electronic fans everywhere."
Scartoon is the brainchild of Las Vegas Producer/DJ Anthony Wynkoop. His musical journey began as a lost 21-year-old aspiring Navy SEAL. Looking for answers, he stumbled into a nightclub for the first time. Up to this point, his only musical endeavor was playing Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix tunes on his guitar. Anthony just so happened to see a performance by this no-name DJ who turned out to be Diplo. This was an experience that forever changed Anthony’s outlook on life and music. His first collaboration became Laissez Faire who went on to support Diplo, Floss, and Mija.
In 2015, Anthony got the courage to start his own label, Artist Mafia Records. With nothing but a studio and motivation, he created a brand that essentially represents a majority of the most talented artists in Vegas.
Anthony had found his roots and now it was time to express himself fully. Scartoon launched in 2016 with the release of "Skin" featuring Ria via Mad Decent Records. After the success of the single, Anthony set out to make a proper record. Finding comfort in the Artist Mafia Headquarters in Las Vegas, Anthony brought in a list of writers, singers, and friends that he features on the record. "The American Psycho" will be available June 9th via independent release.
Scartoon will be playing an album release show in Las Vegas with Sam Gellaitry.
