Jamaican-born artist King Bliss is taking the internet by storm, his first single “Money Mantra” has already gained coverage on Whatthehype and Unsung Hip Hop blog sites. This is the first track off his highly-anticipated debut album, K.I.N.G., which is set to drop in Spring 2017. King Bliss caught the eye of local hip-hop producer Bes Kept, drawing on the rapper’s cultural background, raw talent and love for old-school hip hop. The track was released September 23 and is currently selling on iTunes, CD Baby, Bandcamp, Tidal, etc. It can also be streamed on Spotify and Soundcloud, which within just two weeks of upload already boasts 500+ listeners.
“Money Mantra” is the money-maker anthem. The debut artist explores the life of the the pimp, the business professional, the hustler and the blue-collar worker who all set out to live the American dream by any means necessary. Asking the listener to explore the ultimate question: “What you gon’ do for money?”
