Hailing from Shanghai, Denzel China has always been an entertainer. A pioneering Chinese rap reaction video blogger with thousands of fans across his social media platforms, Denzel has played various musical instruments since childhood, learning accordion, piano, and saxophone. At the age of 10, he found hip-hop. Since the age of 13, Denzel has been one of the estimated 350,000 Chinese students studying in the United States. His subsequent experiences in China and United States have manifested into an intense awareness of the entertainment and larger cultures of both countries, leading to the development of his own unique viewpoints about the hip-hop genre. Denzel is committed to building Chinese hip-hop culture in his own way, and to inspire people to express themselves.

As a gift to all the Chinese students who can’t go home for the winter break, and for his new found American fans throughout the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area, Denzel is playing a special one-night-only show at Newark’s QXT Nightclub on Dec. 14th, with special guests Chinese Attitude Boyz (CAB). The ages 18+ show starts at 7:30PM; tickets start at $10 and can be purchased at
