Netflix and Ill: What You Should Be Watching Right Now

In no particular order, these are the movies, documentaries, and series that the staff at DOPECAUSEWESAID recommends you watch on Netflix right now. We hope to compile and share a new list of five selections regularly, or at least until we run out of new recommendations.

1. Top Boy, Season 1 & 2

It's hard not to compare "Top Boy" to "The Wire" because both are incredibly gritty shows, one based in Baltimore and the other in London. Both convey the perspective of youth growing up in rough, inner city environments struggling to make it through unscathed. Season 1 and 2 are epic and hopefully a Season 3 is coming soon.

2. Daredevil, Season 1 & 2

The "Daredevil" series is the best comic book adaption on the screen today outside of the Marvel movies. Nuff said.

3. Gomorrah

"Gomorrah" is one of the best gangster/organized crime movies there is, hands down. It's based on the book by Roberto Saviano and deals with the Casalesi clan, a crime syndicate within the Camorra, the traditional criminal organization based in Naples and Caserta, in the southern Italian region of Campania.

4. The Art of Organized Noize

Out of Atlanta, Organized Noize is the one of the predominate and most successful production teams in the music industry history, having supplied Outkast, Goodie Mob, TLC and many more legends with beats throughout the years. The "Art of Organized Noize" documentary gives the viewer insight into how they came together, how they became legends and what's next for the trio.

5. House of the Devil

"House of the Devil" gives you a 80's throwback vibe and deals with Satanism and Rosemary's baby type themes. It starts off slow but builds momentum to an incredible climax and ending that leaves the viewer guessing what happened after the credits.
