Kelsy Karter Reveals the Video For "Liquor Store On Mars" Featuring Adam Slack (of The Struts)

Having become one of the most talked about people in the world with the release of “Harry” earlier in the year, LA based kiwi artist Kelsy Karter has revealed the cinematic video for sky reaching new single “Liquor Store On Mars”. Taken from her upcoming debut EP “Rocket Girl”, the video for “Liquor Store On Mars” serves as further testament that Kelsy Karter is a star in waiting. Speaking on the video, Karter states:

The song is a metaphor for finding a way to get over a broken heart. Escaping to mars was my way of getting through that. In the video I crash-land back on earth, representing the reality that you can’t runaway from your problems forever. Adam Slack, from The Struts, features in this video and my band are by my side as per usual. At the end of the video I watch my rocket ship fly back to mars, and with that I’m letting go of the pain.”
