This may be a hard question to answer but would you consider yourself an artist or a dancer/performer first?

I consider myself as an artist first. But I feel both of them are a very huge part of who Lebruce is. I both started them at the same time when I was a very young kid. My background as a dancer prepared me for the artist that I am today.

Congratulations on the release of your new single and video "Oh You". What inspired the creation of the song/video?

The first time that I heard the beat, I knew this was going to be my first single. The rhythm, the saxophone and the vivacious character of the song reminded me of seduction and ‘the thrill of the chase’. If you want something in life, you’ve got to be the best that you can be and go for your goals.

For the ‘Oh You’ video, I wanted to add my theatrical background. This is how the theme of obsession arose. I thought it was important to make the video equally or even more intense as the song itself.

What would you say has been your biggest accomplishment musically this year so far?

I would definitely say the release of "Oh You". I was a bit nervous about how people would react to the video, since it's not the typical pop-rap video. But everybody loved it. It gave me a lot of confidence for my future releases.

What come next after "Oh You"? Will it be appearing on an upcoming EP or album?

As of right now, I’m focusing on releasing singles. There definitely will be more music and videos out soon. But as far is an album or EP, I’m not sure; I'm just working really hard on music. The moment I feel different songs fit together is when I will go for an album.

If you could collaborate with any artist on a song, who would you choose and why?

I can't chose one in particularly. It would be major to ever collaborate with Beyoncé or Bruno Mars. Musically interesting I also would love to collaborate with Troye Sivan and Imagine Dragons. I have so many influences and these are just a few that inspired me. Next to the music, mostly their work ethic is what inspires me the most.
