Rising Toronto Indie/Hip-Hop Artist Erich Mrak is Back with New Single “Riptide”

Young, upcoming pop/experimental hip hop/electronic artist Erich Mrak always seeks new heights, pushes the limits and embraces new challenges. He began writing his own music at the age of seven and is still doing so. Erich's in-house producer is Bento, another Toronto native. His signature sound is characterized by downtempo beats, melancholy vocals and spacious melodies. His lyrics and visuals present the every day.
Erich Mrak is back with a new single entitled “Riptide”, which marks the 4th audio release of a 7 month campaign and is part of a 6 song EP which is being released as singles from January until July.
Accompanying each single is an alternate rendition of each song performed "off the floor" by Erich and his band. "Riptide" delves into a failing relationship, and the attempts to cope with the unfortunate truth that the happiness once found in someone else is fading.
