Music has accompanied Vladimir Ershov (PROFF) his whole life. From a very tender age, he was obtaining classical education at musical, variety art, and jazz schools as well as extra lessons of piano and saxophone mastership. Sometime later, he discovered a new world of electronic sounds which afterward entirely captured his mind. Experiments with the basic audio production software, loops and sample libraries, purchase of the first synthesizer, attention, and support from fellows on the dance music scene took Vladimir closer to the fulfillment of his dream to become a professional DJ and producer with every next step.
PROFF has returned to Monstercat with his serene house single, “Nara.” An ode to the place where he grew up, the new record leads with a meditative medley of hypnotizing pads and echoing choral vocals. As a spiritual sequel to one of his most successful tracks, “Whale Song,” “Nara” maintains PROFF’s atmospheric left-field stylings that have earned him support from the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, and a Beatport Top 10.
PROFF shares, “I’m continuing to explore deeper areas of the organic house world where I feel myself inspired the most at the moment.”
