Belle VEX - Famous
/Belle VEX grew up in the bucolic New England town of New Bedford, MA, dreaming since a young age of finding fame as an actor. He surrounded himself with the arts, also taking up the cello and other instruments along the way. After college, he moved to California to pursue a life as a professional actor. It wasn’t meant to be out west, so he headed back east. Soon after that, life threw him a serious curve ball in the form of two serious car accidents. During this transitional period of his life, he made the decision to leave acting behind and pursue music full time. Soon after, Belle VEX was born.
Bringing his own style of “cool” to pop music, his signature mark of irony and honesty slams together suspenseful tracks with epic choruses and double meanings. His exceptional musicianship and flare for the dramatic come together in perfect harmony on his brand new single for “Famous.” This synth-heavy jam rips through at blistering pace as Belle VEX spits out lines about the toxic environment surrounding the lifestyle of fame and fortune. In the “Famous” video, Belle VEX takes center stage. Using little more than his own outsized persona and a mysterious, menacing use of lighting, he creates a clip that feels every bit as dangerous as it is invigorating. In between darkened scenes of red lights and darkened subterranean rooms, Belle VEX can be seen doing what he does best: tracking in the studio. His focus is laser-like as he drops down track after track. The temptation and vices creep their way in, his caller ID alerting him that sex, drugs, and rock n roll are just around the corner. Nothing can break his stride, however, as he refuses to take his eye off of the prize.
